چکیده

Abstract The multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and the poly(acrylonitrile-co-butadiene-co-styrene) (ABS) granulates are dispersed in acetone separately using a magnetic stirrer followed by ultrasonication. Further, both solutions were mixed with stirring Neat-ABS film, 0.25 wt%, 0.5 wt% 1 of MWCNT-ABS nanocomposite films average thickness 140 µm fabricated solution molding petri dish, room temperature curing further hot compression to maintain uniform thickness. tensile properties, thermal stability, electrical conductivity, EMSE all investigated. results indicate that addition MWCNTs ABS enhanced mechanical properties EMSE. show attractive mechanical, electrical, thermal, as compared neat-ABS films. More than matrix deteriorates strength. However, nanocomposites exhibit better strength, Young’s modulus, neat-ABS. In this research, we used low quantity one-time heating process entire fabrication, produced reasonable properties. Hence, may be one options produce suitable for EMS materials. We recommend these interlayers develop an X-band range electromagnetic wave shielding material.

Electromagnetic Shielding Effectiveness Evaluation For Materials

The theory of electromagnetic shielding is based on the waves equations describing the behavior of electromagnetic field in material. The proposed approach consist in a PSpice model using transmission line model to simulate the attenuation introduced by a material characterized by the macroscopic parameters ε, μ, σ. To verify the data obtained through PSpice simulation, a wave-guide-based measu...

Study on the Shielding Effectiveness of an Arc Thermal Metal Spraying Method against an Electromagnetic Pulse

An electromagnetic pulse (EMP) explodes in real-time and causes critical damage within a short period to not only electric devices, but also to national infrastructures. In terms of EMP shielding rooms, metal plate has been used due to its excellent shielding effectiveness (SE). However, it has difficulties in manufacturing, as the fabrication of welded parts of metal plates and the cost of con...

Influence of fabric density on shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding fabric

In this paper, fabric density influence on the shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding fabric is studied. A series of blended shielding fabrics are tested using a waveguide tube testing method to obtain the shielding effectiveness with different density. Experimental results show that the shielding effectiveness increases with the increase of fabric density, and there are two rapid...

Effect of nanozeolite 13X on thermal and mechanical properties of Polyurethane nanocomposite thin films

Polyurethane/zeolite 13X nanocomposite films were fabricated using solution casting method. The synthesized nanocomposite films were structurally characterized using SEM, TGA and tensile analysis. SEM images showed appropriate distribution of nanocrystalline zeolite particles within polyurethane matrix. Better thermal stability of nanocomposite films in comparison to neat polyurethane was shown...
